Piet Gruwez

Piet Gruwez has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing industry. Piet is currently the CEO of Plastiflex, a leading manufacturer of plastic components and tubing systems. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member and CEO at Solide Group. Piet also has experience as a Non-Executive Board Member at Rosti Group and ASPEL Group. Earlier in their career, they held executive positions at Berry Global, Inc. and Silgan Plastics, where they specialized in plastic closures. Piet also worked as a Business Unit Manager at Lechler Coatings and held multiple roles at TotalEnergies, including Area Manager and Project Engineer. Before entering the private sector, they served as a navy officer in the Belgian Navy.

Piet Gruwez briefly studied Industrial Marketing at INSEAD in 1998. Piet obtained a Master's degree in Economics from the Université libre de Bruxelles between 1989 and 1990. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1989, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in electrical engineering at Ghent University.
