At Plastod, we believe that innovation means caring - every single day - for those in need of advanced wound care solutions.

For over a century, we have been transforming ideas and materials into innovative and high-quality wound dressings, becoming the industrial partner of choice for companies looking to bring effective, safe, and sustainable products to market.

Our strength lies in an integrated model that combines design, applied research, and industrial production. We support our partners through every stage of development—from the selection of the most suitable materials and definition of technical specifications, to functional design, regulatory validation, and full-scale manufacturing.

Each project is supported by a dedicated Project Manager and a multidisciplinary in-house team, ensuring proactive management and seamless collaboration across Research & Development, Technical Office, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs. All of this takes place at our facilities in Calderara di Reno (BO), where we operate over 9,000 m² with 50 production lines and more than 130 professionals involved.

Thanks to a flexible, co-design-oriented approach, we have established strategic partnerships with some of the most reputable players in the medical field across Europe and beyond. Our Management System is certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 by internationally accredited notified bodies.

At Plastod, people make the difference. We believe in a collaborative, inclusive and value-driven work environment, where everyone is encouraged to grow, share ideas and contribute to our common purpose: caring for better lives.
