Michael Baker is an experienced professional in customer success and project management, currently serving as the Vice President of Customer Success at Platform Science since October 2018. Prior to this role, Baker held the position of Sr. Manager of Customer Experience at Omnitracs from April 2013 to September 2018, where the focus was on fleet management solutions. Before that, Baker worked at Qualcomm as a Manager of Customer Service for over a decade, contributing to the advancement of telematics in transportation and logistics. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Manager at Sabre Corporation, providing project management consulting services, as well as a process engineering role at Michelin, supporting global tire retread facilities. Baker began a career in engineering at General Dynamics Electric Boat Division, responsible for developing nuclear submarine reactor plant systems. Education includes a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Business Economics from Rutgers University, earned between 1981 and 1986.
