Drew Schechtman

Drew Schechtman is the Head of ESG and Sustainability at Platinum Equity, a position held since March 2023, where responsibilities include advancing environmental, social, and governance strategies throughout the firm’s operations and portfolio companies. Previously, Drew served as the Head of ESG Strategy at Corebridge Financial, leading the global ESG and Impact program after its IPO from AIG. At AIG, Drew managed a $450 billion AUM ESG Investment Program as Head of ESG Strategy - Investments, while earlier roles included leading ESG efforts at Voya Investment Management and Bank of New York Mellon. Additionally, Drew has a background in consulting with Viridian Energy and co-founding Jayda, a sustainable products initiative in collaboration with a non-profit in India. Drew holds an MS in Sustainable Business Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Economics from Emory University.
