Ellen Valdez

Ellen Valdez, CMP, is an accomplished event management professional with extensive experience across various companies. Currently serving as Event Manager and Executive Producer at Platinum XP since February 2022, Ellen previously held the position of Banquet Manager at Hotel Kansas City, where an impressive 189 events and 41 weddings were executed over 18 months. Past roles include Event Manager at 21c Museum Hotels, where Ellen assisted in launching an offsite-catering program, and Event Specialist at Smith Group Inc., managing substantial budgets and liaising with clients and vendors. Ellen’s diverse background also includes experience in technical installation at AMC Theatres, talent coordination at Pepper Event Talent & Staffing, and live events direction at KCOU-FM 88.1. Ellen Valdez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
