Nirmala Jayaraman

Nirmala Jayaraman is a seasoned Technical Project Manager and Project Architect at Plato since May 2023, with a robust background in software engineering and project management, including the development of automation tools for project processes. Previous experience includes serving as a Pandemic Homeschool Teacher, providing tailored learning during the pandemic, and co-founding SoulfulME, which aimed to forecast stress patterns and promote self-help. Nirmala also has a history of authoring fiction and poetry, and held roles in engineering at Mist Systems, Shmoop, Prakruthe App Labs, Cisco Systems, and Airespace, where significant contributions to mobile SDK developments and indoor location solutions were made. Nirmala holds an MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University, an MSc in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Micromasters in Statistics and Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
