Alen Balczo

Alen Balczo is a seasoned professional in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Food and Beverage Manager at Jadran hoteli Rijeka since January 2024. With over a decade of experience as an F&B Manager at Plava Laguna and previous roles including Head Waiter and Waiter at Adriatic Luxury Hotels, Alen has developed a strong expertise in gastronomy and restaurant business. Alen's background also includes experience in the electrical and mechanical fields, having worked as an electrician with Siemens and ABB, as well as a mechanical technician at Koncar electric rotary machines. Alen holds a Specialist degree in food and beverage from the Faculty of Management in Tourism and Hospitality Opatija and a High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical School of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture Rijeka.
