Jeff Carlson

Jeff Carlson is a seasoned professional in sales and event operations, currently serving as the Corporate Director of Sales and Event Operations at Playa Hotels & Resorts since April 2021. With extensive experience at Hyatt Hotels Corporation from March 2004 to June 2020, Jeff held various roles, including Area Director of Events and Global Sales and Events Systems Trainer, where responsibilities included sales management consulting, training for approximately 120 associates across multiple countries, and overseeing major events and conventions. Jeff's foundational experience also includes positions in event planning and food and beverage management, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Chico.
