Louis Buys

Louis Buys has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. In 2013, they started their career as an Intern Analyst Developer at Open Box Software, where they gained experience in software development and analysis. Louis then went on to found their own company, PulseCheck, in 2013, where they served as the Founder until 2017. In 2015, they founded WebDesignInc., and simultaneously co-founded RipplChat in 2016. Louis continued their entrepreneurial journey by co-founding AllSafe in 2016 and Karri in 2016, both of which they left in 2017 and 2018, respectively. In 2018, they co-founded luca and also founded The Delta, where they hold the position of Founder & CEO. Louis moved on to co-found Revix in 2018, serving as the Co-Founder & Co-CEO until January 2020. Most recently, in 2022, they co-founded Playbook®.

Louis Buys has a diverse education history. In 2011, they enrolled at the University of Cape Town, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechatronic Engineering. Louis completed this program in 2014. Continuing their academic journey, Buys then pursued a Bsc(Hons) degree in Computer Science at the same university from 2012 to 2015. Later in 2016, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Ignite Program, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
