Kevin Barker

Kevin Barker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development within the sports and flooring industries. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at PlayCore since March 2023, Barker previously held key leadership roles including Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Controlled Products, where responsibilities spanned multiple business units including SporTurf and GrassTex. Barker's background includes significant achievements as Vice President at Aacer Flooring and Athletic Republic, where Barker notably grew the latter's business by 300% and expanded its franchise network globally. Earlier career experiences include Vice President at Connor Sport Court International and service as a Lance Corporal in the USMC.
