Barry Leahey Mbe

Barry Leahey MBE serves as President of Playdale Playgrounds Ltd since February 2004, where responsibilities include overseeing strategic operations, managing budgets, and driving international market expansion across 51 countries. Additional roles include Non Executive Director at Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, Chairperson of the Business External Advisory Board and Professor of Practice at the University of Cumbria, and Patron for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity's Children's Appeal. Barry is also an Honorary Professorial Fellow at Lancaster University Management School, Vice Chair of the Regional Advisory Board for Make UK, and Founding Fellow of Be the Business, focusing on leadership and management skills to support SMEs. Educational achievements include an MBA from the University of Salford and a P.G. Dip. in Sports Science from Liverpool John Moores University.
