Jimmy L.

Jimmy L. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jimmy started their career as a Cognitive Neurosciences Researcher at Collège de France in 2007, before transitioning to Market Analyst at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2008 to 2010. Jimmy then worked as a Strategy Consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners, advising top Pharma companies and smaller Biotechs on various missions related to revenues and market strategies from 2011 to 2012.

In 2013, Jimmy joined London Business School as a Strategy and Entrepreneurship PhD candidate, specializing in Collaborative work, Decentralized Organizations, and Agent-based models. Jimmy conducted academic research, utilizing graph-based models, game theoretical models, and agent-based models to study complex strategic environments and organizational dynamics.

After completing their PhD, they co-founded and served as CTO of Collective Labs from 2017 to 2019. Jimmy then became a co-founder (EF PA3 Co-Founder) at Entrepreneur First, an organization that supports aspiring entrepreneurs, before joining Haven.io as a Lead Developer in 2019.

Jimmy's expertise in blockchain and web3 technologies became evident in 2020 when they joined Synergetic as CTO, responsible for developing web3/blockchain DAO platforms using Solana, Anchor, and Node. In 2021, they moved to Everwave as the Lead Blockchain Developer, focusing on the development of their Musical Collaboration Blockchain platform using Solana, Rust, and Next.

Currently, Jimmy holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at PlayEmber, starting in 2022.

Jimmy L. has a diverse education history. From 2013 to 2015, they attended the London Business School, where they completed a PhD program across the Strategy, Organizational Behaviour, and Economics departments, focusing on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. In 2015, they also spent some time at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), studying Network Analysis.

Prior to that, from 2006 to 2007, Jimmy earned a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Université Grenoble Alpes. Jimmy then pursued an MBA at ESSEC Business School from 2007 to 2011, with a specialization in Management and Pharmaceutical Research Innovation. During this time, they also obtained another MBA in Management from Keio University in 2010-2011.

Heading back earlier in their education, from 2005 to 2006, Jimmy studied Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neurosciences at Aix-Marseille University, focusing on Neuroscience. Additionally, they hold an Associate's degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III, although the start and end dates for this degree are unspecified.
