Kayla Kosik has been working in the 3D art industry since 2014. Kayla began their career at Mookstr as Chief Officer of Marketing and Design. In 2019, they worked as an Environment Artist at SkyMill Studios, where they created original 3D modular pieces from concept art for an open-world setting, and textured unique materials using Substance Painter, Substance Designer, 3D Coat, and Photoshop. Kayla also worked as an Environment Artist at Salty Panda Studios UG and Motion Logic Studios in 2019. In 2020, they worked as a 3D Artist Fellow at Schell Games, where they further optimized pre-made assets for the “Until You Fall” Oculus Quest port, and painted foliage onto low-poly meshes using Photoshop. Kayla is currently working as an Associate 3D Environment Artist at Player First Games.
Kayla Kosik attended Full Sail University from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Game Art. Prior to this, they attended Bradley University from 2014 to 2016, where they studied Graphic Design and Interactive Media.
