Eric Traband

Eric Traband has over 20 years of work experience in the IT field. Eric began their career in 2001 as a Department Senior at Best Buy. In 2002, they started working as a Geek for Hire at Trabes.net. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at The Geek Squad as a Special Agent and Double Agent. In 2008, they became a Helpdesk Administrator at Carol. Eric then moved to Complete Solutions of Minnesota in 2009 as a Lead Engineer for Design and Implementation. In 2010, they began working at SIS as an Assistant Instructor. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Bloom Health as a Cloud Business Systems Administrator and I.T. Contractor. In 2014, they became an Operations Engineer - Atlassian Systems at Mattersight Corporation. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Calabrio, Inc. as a DevOps Tools Engineer and AWS Cloud Operations Engineer. Eric is currently a Technical Operations Lead at Player's Health, where they are responsible for managing technical systems, learning Mosyle to manage the Mac fleet, re-learning Windows endpoint management, equipment purchasing, Administering Jira and Confluence, and running a 4-person offshore IT helpdesk and coordinating a 3-person nearshore IT engineering team.

Eric Traband has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from Lawrence University and a high school diploma from Grafton High School. Eric also holds certifications from JAMF Software, including Certified Casper Expert (2014), Certified Casper Administrator, Casper Suite 8 and 9 (2012), and Certified Mobile Administrator, Casper Suite 8 and 9 (2012).
