Chester Cho

Chester Cho is a seasoned product design professional currently serving as Product Design Lead at Playground since June 2024. Prior to this role, Chester was a Member of Design Staff at OpenAI from February 2022 to April 2024, and worked as a Product Designer at Triplebyte, where significant contributions were made as the first designer to disrupt the engineer recruitment industry. Chester's earlier experience includes a Product Designer position at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, where key projects included the URBANETIC Cargo Van concept and the Project CoROS platform. Additional experience encompasses internships at BYROBOT Co., Ltd. focusing on drone technology, and earlier research roles at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, contributing to innovative projects in augmented reality and sensor systems. Chester holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from KAIST.
