Samir Pookhan

Samir Pookhan is an experienced artist in the game development industry, with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Lead Outsource Artist at Playground Games from October 2022 to August 2024, Samir has held various roles including Associate Lead Outsource Artist and Associate Lead Environment Artist. Previously, Samir worked at TT Games Ltd from January 2015 to March 2020, progressing from Junior Environment Artist to Senior Environment Artist, focusing on creating immersive in-game environments and performing tasks such as shader creation and high poly modeling. Earlier experience includes positions as Digital Designer & Developer at The Union, where responsibilities encompassed web advertisement and marketing media creation, and as a 3D Artist at Dare to be Digital and Adamant Studios, focusing on 3D modeling and game development. Samir holds a B.A. in Computer Arts from Abertay University, obtained between January 2007 and January 2011.
