Playhouse on the Square
Virginia Coffey possesses extensive experience in costume management and wig styling, currently serving as the Costume Shop Management and Wigmistress Intern at Playhouse on the Square since September 2015. In this role, Virginia manages budgets for theatrical productions and oversees projects involving other interns and volunteers, alongside maintaining wigs for performances. Previously, Virginia was a Costume Assistant at Lees-McRae Summer Theatre in 2013, where responsibilities included designing and styling wigs and collaborating with other team members on costume alterations. Additionally, Virginia has experience in the service industry, having worked as a server at Tampico Bay Mexican Restaurant from October 2011 to September 2012. Virginia holds two Bachelor's degrees from Mississippi University for Women, one in Fine/Studio Arts with a focus on Theatre (2015-2019) and the other in Art/Art Studies (2007-2013).
