Susy Christiansen

Susy Christiansen has a long and varied career in the digital media industry. In 1996, they began as Digital Media Manager & Editor at Alfred Publishing, leading a team to produce music-education products. In 2000, they joined The Walt Disney Company as Acting Director, Senior Producer, and Lead Technical Producer, leading multi-million dollar campaigns, overseeing creative and business goals, and managing corporate clients. In 2007, they moved to Big Bad Tomato as Director of Production, heading up production for a digital house and producing Emmy-award and Webby-award winning products. Later in 2007, they became Queen Bee at Busy Bee Studios, a creative agency specializing in digital content. In 2020, they worked as Consulting Producer at WayForward Technologies, and in 2021, they began as Creative Producer at Epic Reach. Most recently, in 2018, they co-founded Playper, a company that creates planet-friendly playsets and features simple Augmented Reality (AR) and robust interactive storytelling.

Susy Christiansen holds two Bachelor degrees from UC Santa Barbara, a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters and a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition. Susy also holds a Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles in Film Scoring.
