David Starr

David Starr has extensive work experience in the legal field. David is currently serving as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at PlayPower, Inc. since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Dean Foods as the Chief Compliance Officer & Vice President/Chief Counsel (Litigation, Employment & Risk) from May 2017 to December 2019. David also held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at The LaSalle Group from February 2014 to May 2017. Before that, they were the Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Belo Corp. from February 2000 to December 2013. Earlier in their career, David worked at American Airlines, where they served in various legal positions over a six-year period. Lastly, they began their legal career as an Associate at White & Case LLP from 1989 to 1994.

David Starr has a JD degree with honors from the Duke University School of Law. Prior to that, they obtained a BA degree cum laude from New York University. Additionally, they are certified to practice law in the states of Texas, California, and New York.
