Alex Berriman

Alex Berriman has over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. Alex began their career in 2010 as a Web Developer at Boyd Design. In 2014, they moved to FishVision Mobile and Web Solutions | Australia as a Senior Web Developer. In 2016, they joined Form Corp as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2018, they became the Head of Engineering at Transformd, where they led a team of frontend and backend engineers developing the Transformd platform. In 2019, they were brought in on a 6-month contract to PlaySport as the Head of API and Infrastructure, where they re-architected a single monolith API to service-based architecture in Node. js and migrated services to Kubernetes with 100% automated CI/CD pipelines. In 2020, they became the Lead Front End Engineer at Brighte. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at PlaySport.

Alex Berriman attended the Northern Beaches Secondary College - Manly Selective Campus from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained their high school diploma. Alex then attended the University of Technology Sydney from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
