Nicole De Sousa CA(SA) is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk assurance, internal controls, and audit practices. Currently serving as the Head of Risk and Internal Control at Playtech since August 2023, Nicole previously held various senior roles at PwC UK from January 2016 to August 2023, specializing in US SOX implementation and advisory. Notable positions included Senior Manager in Risk Assurance, where Nicole focused on SOX methodology, as well as managerial roles in Controls Assurance and Audit Risk and Quality. Nicole began her career at PwC South Africa as an Audit Associate, completing three years of articles in Financial Statement Audits. Nicole earned a Bachelor of Commerce honors degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg between 2007 and 2012.
