Nick Ellwood

Nick Ellwood has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nick is currently working as the CFO at Playter since 2022. Prior to this, they worked independently as an Interim CFO providing strategy, finance, and fundraising advice. From 2020 to 2021, they served as the Chief Investment Officer at Rockmount Capital. Before that, they worked at MYDR Ventures as a Partner, focusing on capital raising in the real estate and technology sectors. In 2018, they were involved in corporate development at The Ingenious Group during their MBA placement. From 2013 to 2017, Nick worked as a Structurer at a private hedge fund, responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of transactions, as well as finance functions. Nick also gained experience in structured solutions at Barclays Investment Bank from 2010 to 2013. Nick's career started at Ernst & Young in 2006 as an Executive in Transaction Advisory Services.

Nick Ellwood earned a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences from Durham University from 2003 to 2006. Later, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Cambridge.
