Steve Mayles

Steve Mayles is an accomplished Character Art Director at Playtonic Ltd since February 2015, bringing extensive experience from Rare Ltd, where Mayles held multiple roles including Principal Artist and Character Lead from 2009 to October 2014, notably contributing to Kinect Sports 2. Mayles' tenure at Rare Ltd also included significant influence as Lead Creative Artist on Banjo Kazooie Nuts 'n Bolts and Senior Artist on iconic titles such as Donkey Kong Country and its sequel, contributing to the design of beloved characters like King K. Rool and Dixie Kong, as well as creating 2D animated character sprites for the Battletoads series.
