Peter O'Malley

Peter O'Malley is an experienced professional in environmental justice and education. Currently serving as an In-School Consultant at Playworks since July 2022, Peter previously held the position of Team Leader and Americorps Member at City Year from August 2020 to July 2022. In November 2019, Peter worked as an Environmental Justice Organizer for Clean Water Action, where public education and organization around environmental issues were primary responsibilities. Additional experience includes serving as a Park Ranger for Martha's Vineyard Landbank Commission and completing an internship with the Forest Ecosystem Monitoring Cooperative. Peter began a career in environmental education as a Lead Counselor at Common Roots in 2018. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources & Ecology from the University of Vermont in 2019.
