Sultan Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Sultan began their career in 2004 as a Technical Support Engineer at ZTE, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, Sultan worked at Telenor Pakistan as a BSS Planning Specialist. In 2010, they joined Huawei and served as a Senior Product Manager ICT Solutions until 2018. During their time at Huawei, they were responsible for designing Telecom IT Solutions and successfully launched industry cloud solutions. In 2018, Sultan joined PLC Group as an IoT Solution Lead and later became the Director of Product Development in January 2020.

Sultan Ahmed began their education in 2000 at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, where they studied Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunication. Sultan completed their degree in 2003. In 2004, they further pursued their education by enrolling in the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, where they obtained a Master's in Engineering Management (MEM) with a specialization in Telecom Business Management. Continuing their academic journey, Sultan Ahmed briefly attended Fanshawe College in 2019, where they studied Information Security Management within the field of Information Technology.
