Sara Russell

Sara Russell has been a dedicated educator at Pleasant Valley Community School District since August 2005, serving as a high school social studies teacher. In recognition of exemplary teaching, Sara was honored as the Iowa Teacher of the Year in 2022 by the Iowa Department of Education. Sara holds a Master's degree in Education from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Lawrence University.
