Georgina Knoll

Georgina Knoll is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in elementary education, currently serving as a Master Teacher at Pleasant Valley School District since August 2013. In this role, Georgina teaches 5th grade and actively participates in various leadership initiatives, including technology representation, maker space committee involvement, and coordination of the student council. Additionally, Georgina serves as a mentor for new educators and contributes to several committees such as the school site council and ELAC. As a Research Partner for the California Reading and Literacy Project at California Lutheran University since January 2014, Georgina focuses on demonstrating effective literacy instructional strategies. Previous teaching roles include positions in the CENTRAL UNION ELEM SCHOOL DISTRICT, San Marcos Unified School District, and the Department of Defense Education Activity. Georgina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UCLA, multiple K-8 teaching credentials, and a Master's degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
