Heather Pereira

Heather Pereira has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the Director of Educational Options and Coordinator of Extended Day Academic Intervention Programs at Pleasanton Unified School District since August 2002. Heather has also held roles as a Teacher and Instructional Coach, focusing on various sciences and implementing professional development initiatives. Previous experiences include serving as a Content Reviewer for Holt McDougal and a Teacher Fellow at Applied Bio-Systems, as well as teaching at Hayward Unified School District. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from San Jose State University, along with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership for Social Justice and an Administrative Services Credential from California State University East Bay. Heather's advisory roles include serving as the Club Advisor for the SAMS Club.
