Basel Almasri

Basel Almasri has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to 2023. Basel started their career as a Machine Learning Data Generator at Leidos, where they fed voice data into a machine-learning-based application for commercial trading and trained a medical machine-learning application.

In 2017, Basel joined The Arab Foundation for Sustainable Development (Ruwwad) as an Information Technology Program Coordinator. Basel supported the planning and execution of various activities, provided technical and logistical support to the programs, and facilitated coding, research skills workshops, and English sessions.

In 2019, Basel worked as the Bitmal's Project Coordinator in Jordan, where they moderated and supported the implementation and execution of the Bitmal pilot. Basel captured and documented user experiences and coordinated with stakeholders, including social enterprises founders, volunteers, developers, and the Bitmal board team.

From 2019 to 2020, Basel was an Innovative Education Mentor at NuVu, where they facilitated student learning experiences, acted as an advisor, and supported the development of project ideas within a specified framework.

Basel then joined Smart Way Business Solutions in 2020 as a Business Analyst (Functional Consultant). Basel led Odoo ERP implementation projects, gathered project requirements, communicated them clearly to stakeholders, provided technical designs and documentation, conducted Gap-Analysis and ROI Analysis with businesses stakeholders.

In 2022, Basel moved to PandoSoft as a Business Analyst/Projects Manager. Their responsibilities included identifying and addressing operational, financial, and technological risks, acting as a liaison between business and IT groups, supervising the design of new products, and evaluating their market performance.

Currently, Basel is working at Plennix Technologies as an ERP Consultant/Project Manager, starting in 2023.

Basel Almasri began their education journey in 2015 when they enrolled at Amman Arab University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. Basel dedicated four years to their studies, completing their degree in 2019.

In 2019, Basel joined the Cisco Networking Academy as an incubatee, where they focused on preparing for the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Basel spent a year at the academy, furthering their knowledge and skills in this field.

Throughout their educational journey, Basel also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional profile. In 2018, they completed the Business Skills certification offered by Aramex. The following year, in 2019, they participated in the International Human Rights Training Program (IHRTP) at Equitas-International Centre for Human Rights Education. This demonstrates their commitment to human rights and their dedication to expanding their skill set beyond technical expertise.

Basel's continuous pursuit of knowledge and professional growth is evident through their additional certifications. In 2020, they successfully completed the Odoo Scale Up: The Business Game certification from Odoo and the Practical Projects: Arduino Robotics certification from Edraak إدراك. These certifications showcase their proficiency in project management and robotics.

In 2022, Basel obtained two additional certifications. Basel completed the BPMN 2.0 certification from Camunda, further expanding their skills in business process modeling. Basel also earned the Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations certification from LinkedIn, demonstrating their expertise in agile methodologies and product ownership.
