Raquel Pereira

Raquel Pereira has a work experience that spans over several years in various finance roles. Raquel started their career as a Financial Analyst at Kia Portugal in 2008 and held this position until 2010. In 2011, they joined Pret A Manger as a Finance Analyst and stayed there until 2014.

Raquel then moved on to Ve Interactive in 2014 and took on the role of Finance Analyst. In 2015, they were promoted to Finance Manager and led a global finance team. During their time at Ve Interactive, they implemented a centralized and automated billing process, reducing invoice time from 10 to 3 days. Raquel also supported the implementation of a global accounting system, streamlining processes and cutting costs.

In 2017, Raquel joined Ve Global as a Group Financial Controller, where they ensured strong financial controls and provided strategic information to the CFO. Raquel held this position until 2019. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Senior Finance Business Partner and Director at Ve Global. In this role, they reported to the CFO and represented the finance department in the executive team. Raquel'sresponsibilities included translating and manipulating data into business insights and being known for their ability to "get things done."

Currently, Raquel Pereira is serving as the Group Financial Controller at Plentific, starting in 2022.

Raquel Pereira earned their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade do Minho, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Raquel then pursued a Master's degree in Business and Financial Economics at the University of Greenwich from 2012 to 2014. Raquel also has ongoing education from the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and the CFA Institute, both of which they started in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Additionally, they have a second Master's degree from the University of Greenwich, although the field of study for this degree is not specified.
