Sasha Preuss

Sasha Preuss is an experienced professional in biotechnology and molecular breeding, currently serving as the VP and Head of Lab & Discovery Platform at Bayer since April 2017. In this role, Sasha leads initiatives focused on data engineering and the integration of high-throughput genomic platforms with experimental data systems. Previously, Sasha held various leadership positions at Monsanto Company, including Molecular Breeding Genome Information Science Lead and Molecular Breeding Automation Platform Lead, where successful projects included the development of data systems, lab automation, and genomic data management. Sasha's academic background includes a PhD in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Whitman College, supplemented by postdoctoral research at Washington University in St. Louis.
