Prior to Pleo, Karin held the position of Senior Risk & Compliance Officer at the Swedish Police Authority, focusing on compliance strategy and internal controls for legal processes impacting a large workforce. Experience also includes a role as a Public Prosecutor at Åklagarmyndigheten, where responsibilities included leading investigations and managing prosecutions, as well as work as an Associate at AG Advokat negotiating commercial agreements. Additionally, Karin started career as a Law Clerk at The Swedish Courts, supporting judges in legal proceedings. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Law from Lund University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Linnaeus University.
