Mahesh S. Prabhu

Mahesh S. Prabhu has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Mahesh is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Plex, by Rockwell Automation, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Manager for Cloud Platform Engineering at the same company from April 2020 to March 2023.

Before joining Plex, Mahesh worked at Giesecke & Devrient for nearly nine years, starting in November 2011. During their time there, they held the position of Head of Global Applications Delivery, Product Integration, and Tools for Connected Devices. In this role, they were responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of software applications, product customization, and tools development projects across Giesecke & Devrient's product lines for the telecommunications and financial industries.

From November 2010 to October 2011, Mahesh worked as an Engineering Manager at Eaton Corporation's India Engineering Center. Mahesh led the Embedded Control Systems Software Center of Excellence, where they managed various programs related to hybrid power systems for trucks, buses, and hybrid electric vehicles.

Prior to that, Mahesh had extensive experience at KPIT, where they held multiple roles, including Project Manager and Customer Account/Engagement Manager. In these positions, they oversaw the delivery of software development projects for leading manufacturers of hydraulic, electric, and electronic systems. Mahesh also served as a Customer Engagement Manager for a global automotive Tier-I company.

Mahesh's career began at Infosys in 2000, where they worked as a Software Engineer and Programmer Analyst. Mahesh gained valuable experience in embedded software development projects for automotive and industrial OEM and Tier-I companies in the US and Europe.

Before entering the workforce, Mahesh started their professional journey as a Trainee Engineer at Honeywell Automation Ind. Limited.

Mahesh S. Prabhu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering at the University of Mumbai from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Instrumentation from Vivekanand Education Society's Polytechnic between 1992 and 1995. Mahesh completed their high school education at Dr. Antonio Da Silva High School in Dadar, Mumbai from 1982 to 1992. Additionally, they obtained certifications in the Global Top Talent Program - APAC from Giesecke & Devrient in November 2015, and in Project Management (PROMS) from KPIT in September 2009.
