Alan Featherston-Lago

Alan Featherston-Lago has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Alan is currently the Head of Data Engineering at Plexure, where they lead the technology data teams and collaborates with various departments to implement data technologies and policies. Prior to their current role, Alan served as the Interim VP of Engineering at Plexure.

Alan also has a significant tenure at Trade Me, where they held several positions. Alan served as the Principal Data Engineer, leading a team of data engineers and shaping Trade Me's data strategy. Alan was also a Lead Data Engineer responsible for maintaining Trade Me's event streaming platform, data lake, and data-related tools. Before that, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer and Database Specialist at Trade Me.

Early in their career, Alan worked at the National Lottery and Casinos Agency of Buenos Aires as a Database Administrator from March 2008 to December 2014.
