Tim Adekola MSc, B.A, GSP, DOHS, COHS

Tim Adekola MSc, B.A, GSP, DOHS, COHS has a wealth of experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Tim has been a Member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering since 2011 and is the Founder of Kings Safety Consulting LTD., established in 2011. In 2013, they were the HSE Director of PLH Group, Inc. where they were responsible for overseeing stakeholder engagement related to new projects, implementation of company HSE, and Operational Integrity management system, ensuring HSE expectations were instituted in the complete lifecycle from design to operation. From 2009 to 2011, they were employed by WORLEYPARSONS, Calgary, Alberta, where they worked as the Assistant Manager - Health Safety and Environment, Health and Safety Specialist, and Health Safety & Environmental Advisor. In 2010, they were the Assistant Manager - Health, Safety, and Environment at WorleyParsons MEG. In 2011, they worked for Suncor Energy and Swift Energy Company as an HSE Advisor and for Spectra Energy as an Assistant Manager - Health, Safety, and Environment. In 2009, they were a Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist at WORLEYPARSONS RESOURCES & ENERGY.

Tim Adekola holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Health and Safety (Environmental Focus) from Columbia Southern University, obtained between 2018 and 2020. Tim also holds an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick, obtained between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, they hold an Associate's Degree in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from the University of New Brunswick, obtained between 2012 and 2013. Tim also holds a Certificate of Achievement in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technology/Technician from Motive-Action Training Foundation Calgary Alberta Canada, obtained between 2003 and 2004. Furthermore, they hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, obtained between 1998 and 2002. Tim also holds a Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, obtained in May 2020.
