Benjamin Pietro Filardo

Benjamin Pietro Filardo is the founder and CEO of Pliant Energy Systems. Benjamin has over two decades of experience in the architecture and design industry.

Filardo's career began at Rockwell Group, where they worked as a designer for two years. Benjamin then joined Philip Johnson/Alan Ritchie Architects, where they spent seven years as a senior designer. In April 2005, they started their own company, Filardo Master Planning & Design LLC. Benjamin ran the company for six years before starting Pliant Energy Systems in May 2011.

Filardo is a highly accomplished architect and designer. Benjamin has won numerous awards for their work, and their designs have been featured in magazines and books. Benjamin is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Benjamin Pietro Filardo completed a BSc in Biology and Oceanography at the University of St Andrews. Benjamin then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Architecture at The University of Sheffield. Finally, they completed a degree in Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley.
