Rachelle Morales

Rachelle Morales, MSA, CPA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Accounting at Pliant Therapeutics since March 2021, following prior experience as a Manager of Accounting in the same company. Rachelle has a long-standing role at the Archdiocese of San Francisco, where responsibilities as Co-Director of Religious Education include teaching, advising, and facilitating community involvement. Previous accounting roles include Senior Accountant at Portola Pharmaceuticals and Gymboree, where Rachelle managed month-end close processes and inventory controls. Rachelle's auditing expertise was developed as a Senior Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where Rachelle led integrated audits and collaborated with clients on compliance and internal controls. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting, both from San Francisco State University.
