Kenji Suzuki

President & Co-Founder at PLIMES

Kenji Suzuki has held various roles across multiple companies throughout their career. From 1997 to 2002, they served as a Visiting Researcher at the Università degli Studi di Genova's Laboratory of Musical Information, where they focused on human-robot communication and Theatrical Museal Machine. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Research Associate at Waseda University's Department of Applied Physics, specializing in Machine Learning, Humaniod Robotics, and Human Computer Interaction. In 2009, they took on the role of Visiting Researcher at the Collège de France's LPPA - Laboratory of Physiology of Perception and Action, where they studied human locomotion and behavior analysis. From 2011 to 2021, they were the Director and Board Member of the Center for Cybernics Research. From 2018 to 2021, they served as President and Co-Founder of PLIMES Inc. and Advisor and Co-Founder of Qolo. In 2021, they began working as Advisor and Architect for the City of Tsukuba and External Board Member for CYBERDYNE, INC. Additionally, they held the roles of Advisor to the President, Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at the University of Tsukuba from 2005 to 2021.

Kenji Suzuki obtained their Ph.D. in Pure and Applied Physics from Waseda University between 1993 and 2003.
