Goran Kapic

Goran Kapic serves as the Advisor to the CEO for cybersecurity (CISO) at Plinacro Ltd., overseeing the cybersecurity program for the Croatian national gas transport system since June 2018. Key responsibilities include managing ISO27001:2013 certified information security management systems (ISMS), coordinating with government agencies on data breaches, leading policy changes related to cybersecurity, and enhancing employee awareness through education. Prior to Plinacro, Goran held various roles at HZ Putnicki prijevoz d.o.o. and CS Computer Systems Ltd., including Director of Governance, Risk Management & Compliance, where notable achievements included establishing ISO27001:2005 certification for the first company in Croatia. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, a Diploma in Management, and a specialist degree in Information Security.
