Kirsi Suutarinen

Kirsi Suutarinen is a freelance translator with extensive experience in translating and subtitling across various languages. Since September 2021, Kirsi has worked with Laine Publishing, focusing on feature articles related to knitting. At the University of Helsinki, Kirsi has provided translations for the European law, identity, and history research unit. Additional work includes subtitling films and series for Pixelogic Media and Plint, alongside roles in project management and communications consulting for organizations such as Traject and the British Council. Kirsi's educational background includes a Master's degree in Translation, Interpretation, and Languages from the University of Tampere, as well as studies in Italian philology.
