Andrew Job is the founder and CEO of Plotlogic, a company that uses AI and sensors to provide real-time high precision orebody knowledge to drive change in mining operational efficiency and resource sustainability. Prior to Plotlogic, Andrew was a PhD candidate at The University of Queensland, where their research focused on using AI and sensors to provided real-time high precision orebody knowledge to drive change in mining operational efficiency and resource sustainability.

From 2011 to 2016, Andrew served as the General Manager of Capcoal Surface Operations and Foxleigh Mine for Anglo American. In this role, they were solely responsible for the safe leadership of profitable performance of a multi-billion dollar portfolio. This responsibility also included working as an executive director on several international joint-venture boards. Key outputs included overseeing the integration and restructure of the consolidated surface operations, reducing direct cash costs by 15% over a six month period, as well as simultaneously delivering an exceptional safety performance turn-around for the Foxleigh operations.

Prior to joining Anglo American, Andrew was the Mine Manager at Xstrata Coal from 2008 to 2010.

Andrew Job's educational career includes earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The University of Queensland, a Master of Commerce in Finance from UNSW Business School, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from UNSW. Andrew also has certification from QLD in Site Senior Executive and from NSW in Manager of Mining Engineering.
