Alan Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Alan started their career in the United States Air Force and served as an Inventory Management Specialist for six years. During their time in the Air Force, they gained recognition and received awards for their outstanding achievements in managing and sustaining equipment accounts and operating a regional demilitarization warehouse.

After leaving the Air Force in 1994, Alan joined United Rentals as an IT Asset Management Data Administrator. In this role, they ensured the accurate administration of a large database of IT and Cellular equipment assets. Alan also conducted training sessions to engage managers in the proper collection and maintenance of asset records. Alan's diligence in monitoring lease schedules and locally stockpiled equipment assets saved the company $100,000 per year.

Alan then joined TEKsystems in 2011 as the ITAM Coordinator of Technology, Planning, and Deployment at Rowan/Cabarrus Community College. Alan held this position for one year, where they coordinated the technology planning and deployment efforts.

In 2015, Alan joined Getronics as an IT Helpdesk Analyst, primarily working for Highmark. Alan served in this role for three years, until 2018.

Most recently, in 2018, Alan started working at PLS Logistics Services as a Helpdesk Analyst. Alan is currently in this position, providing assistance and support to the organization's IT users.

Throughout their career, Alan has developed strong expertise in helpdesk support, asset management, and IT operations.

Alan Smith obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Network Systems from ITT Technical Institute-Pittsburgh, which they earned between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they received a Diploma in Software Accounting from Brookstone College-Charlotte in 1996. In 1991, Alan attended Airman Leadership School, where they focused on Military and Strategic Leadership. Alan'seducation history also includes enrollment at the Community College of the Air Force from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued studies in Inventory Management.
