Sharon Dias

Sharon Dias has a strong background in software quality assurance and development. Sharon is currently working as a QA Engineer at PLS Logistics Services, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Web QA Tester at Intellimize from June 2021 to February 2022. Sharon also has experience as a Software QA Tester at Becker Professional Education, starting in 2016 and ending in 2017, and again from 2012 to 2013. During their time at Becker Professional Education, they collaborated with different teams, used Agile processes with Scrum methodologies, and prepared manual test cases. Sharon's early career included a role as a BackEnd Developer (Associate) at SS&C GlobeOp from 2006 to 2010 where they re-factored existing modules, automated manual tasks, and performed reverse engineering for legacy applications.

Sharon Dias holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. In terms of additional certifications, they received the Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. in August 2020. Sharon has also obtained several certifications from Simplilearn, including Automation Test Engineer, Learn mobile automation and cloud testing, Test and monitor your applications through Non-functional and API Testing, and Get started with Functional Testing, TDD, and DevOps integration, all obtained in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, Sharon has acquired certifications in Java Object-Oriented Programming, Implement software development and database fundamentals through agile, Unix Essential Training, Agile Testing, Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer, Learning Java, Programming Foundations: Software Testing/QA, SQL for Testers, and Selenium Essential Training, all obtained in 2021.
