Omer Gozen

Omer Gozen is the VP of New Materials and Food at Plug and Play. Omer has also served as the Products and Programs Leader - Air Sealing and Accessories in Residential Insulation at Owens Corning from May 2015 to May 2017. During their time at Owens Corning, they were responsible for the growth of a 200-SKU Accessories product portfolio which resulted in a 17% revenue growth in the first year and 13% in the second year. Omer also established short- and long-term Accessories product, market and channel strategy and contributed to the overall Residential Insulation business strategy. In addition, they led cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, operations, supply chain, sourcing and R&D for commercialization of new products.

After completing their undergraduate degree at Boğaziçi University, Omer Gozen pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. For their PhD, they studied Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at North Carolina State University. Afterwards, they obtained an MS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a focus on polymers from the same school. Finally, they completed their BS in Chemical and Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
