Dean Taylor has over 25 years of experience in the electric transportation area with a focus on regulatory and legislative affairs, external engagement and business and strategy development. He has chaired many coalitions including the California EV Task Force and the coalitions that created federal EV tax credits, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 and California’s AB 118 incentives and HOV lane access incentive. He has project managed dozens of technical and business planning studies covering over 30 electric drive technologies, including non-road EVs, high-speed rail, and heavy duty EVs. Dean currently is a principal advisor for Southern California Edison working in Regulatory Affairs on transportation electrification issues.
