Ashley Gardner has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ashley started their career as a Student Worker and then interned at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., both during their time at Siena College. Ashley later worked as an Administrative Assistant at LPL Financial.
Ashley then joined NYS Children and Family Services as a Budget Analyst, where they managed and analyzed expenditures and prepared payment instructions for local assistance payments. Ashley also played a role in the development of budget requests for various local assistance programs.
Following this, Ashley worked at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Controller's Office as a Research Accountant- Budget and Grant Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for post-award management of research grants and contract awards, including budget preparation, transaction review, and expenditure analysis.
Ashley then transitioned to the NYS Office of Children and Family Services as a Project Assistant, where they processed and monitored contracts and purchase orders.
Ashley's next position was as a Research Administrator at the University at Albany, SUNY. Here, they managed pre-award functions, secured sponsored project funding, and developed relationships with faculty and staff to support their funding applications.
Ashley then moved to GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Finance Analyst, where they worked on financial analysis and reporting.
Most recently, Ashley joined Plug Power as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, where they focus on financial reporting.
Through their work experience, Ashley has gained proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, grant management, contract administration, and research administration.
Ashley Gardner attended Siena College from 2007 to 2010, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Finance.
