Systems Engineer at Plug Power

Linnea Wegge has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2018, they worked as an Assistant Martial Arts Instructor at the Western Mass Martial Arts Academy, where they taught jujitsu techniques to elementary school students. Linnea displayed leadership skills by supervising students and redirecting their attention.

In 2019, Linnea joined McDonald's as a Crew Member and gained valuable experience in customer service and teamwork. Linnea effectively communicated with customers and coworkers, managing conflicts and taking orders both in person and through the drive-thru.

In 2021, Linnea worked at the University of Rochester as a Chemical Process Analysis Workshop Leader. Linnea spearheaded the launch of the workshop program and led a group of twelve students in solving problems related to chemical engineering.

Later in 2021, Linnea also served as a Server at Friendly's Ice Cream, LLC. This role allowed their to practice efficiency and communication while managing multiple tables, ensuring accurate food preparation, and maximizing efficiency.

In 2022, Linnea interned at OMG, Inc. as a Research and Development Intern. Linnea'smain goal was to identify optimal settings for an ultrasonic cleaner. Linnea conducted a Gage R&R analysis and improved the measurement system by designing and 3D printing a custom piece.

Currently, Linnea works as a Systems Engineer at Plug Power, starting in 2023.

Linnea Wegge completed their high school education at Monson High School from 2015 to 2019, earning a High School Diploma. Subsequently, they pursued further studies at the University of Rochester from 2019 to 2023, majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering. Linnea obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the university.
