Mike Izdebski

Director, Logistics at Plug Power

Mike Izdebski has a diverse range of work experience in logistics and supply chain management. Currently, they are the Director of Logistics at Plug Power, where they lead a global logistics team in planning and executing a delivery plan for the company's cargo worldwide, while ensuring safety, compliance, and cost efficiency. Mike also develops the strategic vision for international product movement and oversees the development of a cross-trained logistics team. Prior to this role, Mike served as the Senior Supply Chain Systems Manager at Plug Power.

Before joining Plug Power, Mike held the position of Vice President of Logistics at Carver Companies, where they were responsible for overseeing the logistics operations. Mike previously worked at GE Global Research as the Facilities Materials Manager and at GE Power as the Global Project Logistics Fulfillment Leader. At GE Transportation - Energy Storage, they served as the Materials Distribution Leader.

Mike began their career at GE Energy in various roles, including Commodity Leader Generators, Sourcing Program Leader, and Lead Buyer. Prior to joining GE Energy, they worked at Allyn International as the GE Schenectady On-Site Logistics Manager. Mike also gained experience at Cardinal Logistics and J.B. Hunt Dedicated as the Director of Operations for the North and Midwest and National Account Manager for The Home Depot, respectively. Mike started their career at JB Hunt Transport as a National Account Manager. Overall, Mike has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, working in both global and domestic roles.

Mike Izdebski has a diverse education history. Mike obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance from the College of Business at Florida State University, where they studied from 1982 to 1985. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1982, they attended Swarthmore College, although the details of their degree and field of study are unknown. Later, they pursued an MBA in Management & Technology from the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006. Currently, Mike is working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Systems Science and Theory from the Thomas J. Watson College of Engineering and Applied Science at Binghamton University, with an expected completion date in 2024.
