Ronald van Den Berg

Ronald van den Berg has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Ronald is currently working at Plug Power, starting in September 2022 as an Engineering Manager and transitioning to the role of Project Development Manager in June 2023. Prior to that, Ronald worked at G.I. Dynamics as a Process Lead from December 2020 to August 2022.

In 2018, Ronald joined McDermott International Inc. as a Project Engineering Manager and later became the Department Manager for Process Engineering & Technical Safety. Ronald held these positions from March to May 2018.

Before joining McDermott International Inc., Ronald worked at CB&I as the Department Manager for Process Engineering from September 2012 to March 2018, and as a Process Manager from January 2008 to September 2012.

Ronald has a longstanding history with ABB Lummus Global B.V., where they served as an Ass. Dept. Manager for Process Technology from September 2004 to December 2007. Ronald also worked as a Metallurgy Specialist from May 1993 to August 2004, focusing on materials selection, failure analysis, lifetime extension studies, risk-based inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ronald had assignments abroad at client production facilities and sister engineering offices.

Ronald van den Berg pursued their education at Delft University of Technology from 1987 to 1993. During this period, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering.
