Samuel Waldschmitt has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Samuel is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Plug Power since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Hyper Lab from June 2019 to May 2021, where they contributed to the research and development of a hydrogen liquefier called CHEF. Samuel was also a co-author of a publication presented at a hydrogen safety conference and involved in improving the safety of hydrogen systems.
Before their role at Hyper Lab, Samuel was a Trainee at the Nuclear Science Center from August 2018 to June 2019. There, they assisted in the operation and maintenance of a nuclear reactor and received certification as a radiation worker. Samuel also participated in classes on nuclear physics and radiation safety.
Additionally, Samuel has experience as a Score Keeper at Damien High School for a brief period in December 2017 and as a Score Keeper for the National Junior Basketball League from September 2012 to February 2016.
Samuel Waldschmitt obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, in January 2018, they obtained the CSWA certification from Dassault Systèmes.
